Founding member Roz Jacobs started painting portraits of her uncle who was lost in the Holocaust. The movement went on to be an award winning documentary called Finding Kalman. Now Roz and co-founder Laurie Weisman travel around the world teaching art classes around drawing remembrance portraits.
This design was to update their website from a basic blog-type template to a full fledged interactive and immersive experience, allowing users to engage with the words they saw on the screen as well as easily search through the hundreds of portraits from people around the globe. The website is live and can be seen here.
Additional pages were created with Susan Morrissey at Counterspace Technologies, following my overall direction.
